This coffee comes from Huehuetenango, a mountainous coffee-growing region in Guatemala. It is cultivated at approximately 1,350 metres above sea level by four regional farmers.
Growing coffee at this elevation allows the cherries to mature steadily, helping the beans develop greater sweetness, density and flavour complexity.
Typica, Bourbon, Caturra and Catuaí Arabica varieties are brought together to create a regional coffee that reflects the distinctive character of Huehuetenango.
