Sourced from coffee-growing regions across Colombia, the beans are cultivated at elevations between 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level. These high-altitude conditions allow the coffee cherries to develop gradually, helping create the clarity, sweetness and lively acidity for which Colombian coffee is renowned.
Caturra, Typica and Bourbon Arabica varieties come together to produce a medium-bodied coffee with rich acidity, a clean aroma and a refreshing citrus character.
Colombian coffee is loved for its brightness, balance and versatility. This coffee opens with a clean aroma before developing into a lively citrus flavour, complemented by a rounded body and rich acidity.
Its clean and sweet aftertaste brings the cup into balance, leaving a smooth finish that makes it easy to enjoy throughout the day.
The coffee is full of character without becoming overpowering. It can be enjoyed black to appreciate its brighter qualities or served with milk for a smoother, more rounded drink.
Colombia’s mountainous landscape provides excellent conditions for cultivating high-quality Arabica coffee. These beans are sourced from various growing regions and cultivated between approximately 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level.
At these elevations, cooler temperatures allow the coffee cherries to mature more slowly. This gradual development contributes to the beans’ sweetness, aromatic clarity and bright acidity.
The primary harvest takes place between September and December, when ripe coffee cherries are collected and prepared for washed processing.
Colombian coffee is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys a clean, refreshing cup with a balance of sweetness and acidity.
Its citrus-led flavour gives the coffee a lively character, while its medium body and rounded texture keep it smooth and approachable.

At Chester’s Coffee Roasters, we carefully roast our Colombian beans to preserve their brightness while developing their natural sweetness and rounded body.
The roast brings balance to the coffee’s lively citrus character and rich acidity without masking its clean, refreshing qualities.
From its inviting aroma to its sweet aftertaste, every cup offers the distinctive balance and vibrancy associated with Colombian Arabica coffee.
Every cup begins in Colombia’s mountainous coffee-growing regions. The combination of high elevation, carefully cultivated Arabica varieties and washed processing creates a coffee with impressive clarity, sweetness and brightness.
Once the green coffee reaches Chester’s Coffee Roasters, the beans are carefully roasted to develop their distinctive character. The standard Colombian roast highlights lively citrus notes and a clean finish, while the decaffeinated roast delivers a richer, more rounded profile.
Whether you choose the original or decaffeinated version, you can expect a carefully roasted Colombian coffee with balance, depth and character.
Our Colombian decaffeinated coffee begins with the same quality Colombian beans used for our caffeinated coffee. However, the decaffeination process naturally alters some elements of the final flavour profile.
The caffeine is removed using a natural mountain water process. This allows the beans to retain their full-bodied character while producing a smooth, balanced decaffeinated coffee.
Careful roasting develops a richer profile with chocolate undertones, a rounded mouthfeel and a subtle sharpness that brings balance to the cup. It offers enough strength to work beautifully with milk while remaining smooth and enjoyable when served black.
